Presented by the Jennings County Players Friday, April 4, 2014 – 7:30pm Saturday, April 5, 2014 – 7:30pm Sunday, April 6, 2014 – 2:00pm How do we separate truth from lies? How do we keep strong emotions and biases from infecting our decisions? And what does “reasonable doubt” mean when a man’s life is at stake? The Jennings County Players tackles these questions and more in its production of TWELVE ANGRY MEN. Their rendition brings to the stage the taut brilliance of the 1957 cinema classic version of TWELVE ANGRY MEN starring Henry Fonda. It is considered to be one of the greatest trial dramas and “must see” movies of all times. TWELVE ANGRY MEN, written by Reginald Rose, is a story about twelve jurors who must decide the fate of a 19 year old man accused of murdering his father. The jurors must decide “beyond a reasonable doubt” that this man is guilty of the crime he is accused of. The audience will form their opinion alongside the jury and watch the deliberation that occurs inside the normally closed off jury room. Performances of TWELVE ANGRY MEN, under the direction of Josh Shafer and produced by special arrangement with the Dramatic Publishing Company, Woodstock II, are scheduled for Friday, April 4th, 7:30 pm; Saturday, April 5th, 7:30 pm; and Sunday, April 6th, 2:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Park Theatre Civic Centre, 25 N Madison Avenue, in downtown North Vernon. The Box Office is open Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:00-6:00 pm, and Saturdays, 10:00am-1:00pm. Tickets may also be purchased at the door prior to each show. Ticket prices are: Adults – $8.00 in advance ($10.00 at the door), $3.00 Students (Grades K-12), and $1.00 Pre-school children. For more information, please call the Park Theatre Civic Centre at...
